Disability Initiative Workgroup

The Baltimore CASH Campaign is a partner of Baltimore City’s REI Tour workgroup.  CASH serves as the primary partner that provides both free tax preparation assistance programs and asset development programs.  Other partners include: the Mayor’s Commission on Disabilities, Making Choices for Independent Living, the League for People with Disabilities, Baltimore Housing, the Social Security Administration, DORS, and the Baltimore Department of Social Services.   This year, CASH is working to recruit the Baltimore County Commission on Disabilities, the Maryland Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the Maryland Department of Disabilities, and the Maryland Lieutenant Governor’s Office.

Baltimore CASH Campaign recently launched a new website that allows for more accessibility. The website will include embedded text in pictures and will allow CASH to promote events and services, including the REI Tour.  www.baltimorecity.gov/government/disabilities and http://www.baltimorecashcampaign.org/
